and SV1BTR with solid 529.

Hi all,

as time allowed I was on the moon on Saturday 4 Feb on 144 MHz. In the first CW pass I played with my TenTec RX320D receiver and a 144/28 MHz converter. This gives me an output of ca +/- 8 kHz bandwidth around 12 kHz which I feed into LINRAD. Placing the center frequency on ca 144.050 MHz I easily could find some EME CW stations in between all those birdies around, because the signal was switching on and off again after some time.

Before the 2nd CW pass I made 3 contacts in JT mode, where I got DJ9CZ, ES6RQ and W8WN. ES6RQ was found again with LINRAD, where it is EASY to find at least the stronger stations around.

In the 2nd CW pass I managed to work IK3MAC easily, but could not raise SV1BTR, SP7DCS or F3VS to more than a "QRZ". LZ2US was heard in a QSO with 529.

Perhaps I will find some time on for skeds on next weekend, but I will be busy with my daughter's 5th anniversary too ...

I made with Valter IK1FJI a sked via eMail. He seems to have fabulous ears.
Here is an image of MY signal taken with SPECTRAN. Valter sais, the signal is
weak but with good readability from time to time.

07.01.2006 144 MHz CW DUBUS activity
In the first pass of the DUBUS CW activity I could copy
* SV1BTR with fine signals
* IK3MAC strong, but not as strong as last month
* LZ2US Q5 copy
* F3VS ?? a signal with lots of QSB

Later I switched to JT65B for half an hour or so and I managed to work EA6VQ (see above)
copied F6FHP (-20), I6BQI (-22), RU1AA (-20)

After 21UT I spent my time in the CW section and I found

* SV1BTR tremendously strong peaking 539 and full Q5 copy, but CWNR
* OZ1HNE also Q5 - easy to separate from tropo signals
* OK1MS wkg SV1BTR - easy copy
* KB8RQ very weak today
