A session at 22/23 March 2003
Last Update: 30 March 2003
Here is a bunch of new images. I am very satisfied with the results. As the GP mounts is running without control, I limited the exposure time to 120 sec.
I had still to throw out some images as there is some periodic error.
Imageprocessing I made with
IRIS: Dark Median of 5 dark fields; subtraction; Size scale factor 1.5
AIP4WIN: Brightness scaling, slight deconvolution, noise reduction, TIFF conversion.
The original images were made with a resolution of 385*290 pixel. Darkest objects visible are around 17 mag.
M81 Galaxy
-
Instrument: Reflector 150/750mm focal mode
-
Kamera: AlphaMini OES
-
Exposure time: 14*120 sec with dark field subtraction

Note: The image below is the same image, but I have inserted some magnitudes. I believe the limit is better than 17 mag !! My deepest image ever !

Note: The image below shows several galaxies I could find in other images and the ESO and STSCI surveys. I have circled them. I also wrote some magnitudes to some stars.
