Astrophotos - Experiments

Last Update: 7 March 2002

In this case I have made a construction with two macro lenses for the CANON G1 Digital camera to make digital images of the slides. The result is astonishing. The images have larges size !
By selecting the images you may load the same image in a very much higher resolution.

H & Chi in Perseus

  • Instrument: KIEV 19, 4/300mm Zeiss optics on NP
  • Film: Kodak Elite II 400 ASA - Slide
  • Exposure time: 20 Minutes
  • Date:18 October 1998 / ca. 21.15 h
  • Note:This is the first image with the Pentacon Six / Zeiss lens. The lens has the M42 - Nikon correction, which makes a non optimum image quality. The image is large at full size ! See the resolution.

NGC 7000 Nebula

  • Instrument: NIKON F90, 4/200 on NP
  • Film: Kodak Elite II 400 ASA - Slide
  • Exposure time: 10 Minutes
  • Note : I made NO further enhancement exept finding the right exposure time for the slide copy.
