I spent a weekend in the very flat countryside at the Jadebusen with my friends in Iffens (http://www.umweltstation-iffens.de/). I was very pleased to find a wonderful display of Noctilucent Clouds shortly before midnight of 9 July 2011. I had not seen such a bright appearance for several years now.
I took the chance for a large number of images. Taken with my NIKON D7000 camera and a standard zoom-lens (18 .. 70mm). Speed was 400ISO and exposure times were moderate between 3 and 10 seconds.
Seen to the North-West, a second "display" of Noctilucent clouds
became visible.
A bright moon above the fields to the south.
