Another two clear nights in a row. And again there was no good seeing at all. Jupiter was still low in the sky, the Moon was almost close to its lowest declination at only 10 degrees over the horizon, but was clear, and Saturn was a pain again.

On the 25th a neighbour came over to my observing site in front of the house and I could show him visually a few "wonders". We began with Saturn at different magnifications through the 150/1800mm Maksutov from 90 (with 20mm eyepiece), 200 (with 9mm), 260 (with 7mm) down to 450 (with 4mm). This was fun with sometimes seeing the Cassini division.

Next was the colourful double star Albireo in Swan, which came really impressive and than followed by a view on the M57 Ring Nebula, which was easy to see, what surprised even me. We finally ended up with Jupiter, where we saw those four moons and easy reddish bands on the planet. My guest was simply speechless and promised to come more often for viewing.

Imagingwise I tried some views on the Moon, but high magnification was not possible.
