Good and calm weather. Best time for trying things out on the sun.

This was the first time trying the QHY camera on the sun - with a Baader solar filter of course.

Today's
Conditions
: partially cloudy sky , Temp 16°C, ~60% humidity, mediocre seeing, low wind

For almost all images

Instrument : Omegon Pro AP Triplet ED FCD-100 d=85 f=510mm Apochromat (f=1/6)
Camera : QHY5III715C
Exposure : SER Video ~500 frames at 0.4ms/frame
Software : Firecapture, Astrostakkert 3, Astrosurface, Gimp

Full view of the white sun. The chip is too small to image the whole sun.

Colour image through a wide pass H-Alpha filter.
I think it is too wide for to show any detailed features on the sun.
The camera has been set to black & white capture.
Date - Time : 20 May 2024 - 0955 UT

The same region as before but this time with a blue filter (instead of a CA (Calcium) filter, which I do not have.)
Image taken in colour mode. Then converted to black & white

Another full resolution frame, this time a colour image.
