My antennas will be down over the next days. The vertical rotator is stuck since the big storm (gales to over 160km/h) on 28 October 2013 and the horizontal rotator seems a bit "ill" as well.

Throughout the last days I have viewed through many pages on this site. A lot of mistakes are corrected now. I do not think I found all ...

Since some months now, me and my son Michael added some RC Flying to "waste" some time with. We have built and flown with quadrocopters. We crashed them often and have rebuilt them. We have learned a lot on flight controllers programmed in C++ and Arduino. Things that work on earth do not necessarily work in the air... Amateur Radio experience helps a lot. So, I have added - a still empty - page in the hope the one or the other project may be interesting for you dear readers. Ge here: http://www.df9cy.de/rcflight/rcflight.htm

During this years' first BBQ at the local observatory, I took some shots of our sun. A number of tiny sunspots are visible (I count more than 20 ...) showing the sun's activity, which is high in this solar cycle; but low compared to previous cycles. Go HERE for more images.
