New Transceiver on the desk

After almost 2 years without a "real" shortwave rig I got hold of a Kenwood TS 590s, which was delivered yesterday. It is used, but very little only. The very first impression is that it is doing extremely well. First contact in CW (morse) were with Florida, New Jersey (21 MHz) and France (7 MHz).

Antennas fixed

All antennas were down and I removed the vertical rotator, which obviously is stuck and has to be repaired. I did not take out the horizontal rotator (HAM IV Type), as I do not have a spare one. Yes, it is still working somehow.
Now it is time to come for this seasons' first Sporadic E openings.
